Job description
Evolution Power Projects is seeking several new Field Service Technicians to join our team. We are a provider of innovative power products, servicing a large geographic area with expansion plans. We are hoping for applicants who offer a broad range of skills as listed below, with an interest in learning new processes and technologies and are career oriented.

Remote work often requires longer hours and time spent away from home. This is not a camp position; however, applicants should have Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract and be willing to travel between Alberta and BC. Field Service Technicians have the ability to earn overtime including double time.

Compensation will be based on a combination of experience and education.
Overtime Paid after 8 Hours/Day, Double Time after 12 Hours.
Potential for bonus during busy periods, when financial metrics are met or exceeded.
Monthly safety bonus for positive participation and enforcement of safety policy
Participation in Extended Health Benefits, past probationary period.
2 Weeks Assured holidays, with increase for time of service.
Evolution Power will pay for additional training and courses, where needed.
Mandatory Skills:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License in good standing. Clean drivers abstract, upon request.
Willing to travel.
Mechanical abilities to assist with general maintenance program on light towers, generators, heaters, vehicles.
Physically fit and comfortable working in terrain that can be frozen, uneven, muddy, slippery, etc. Equipment set up and tear-down involves a degree of physical exertion including but not limited to lifting, reaching, pulling and occasionally mild heights.
Additional Skills
Broad Mechanical certification, training and or/experience would be an asset.
Broad Electrical certification, training and or/experience would be an asset.
Turbine generator knowledge and experience would be an asset.
Drivers Credentials higher than Class 5 would be an asset
H2S, First Aid.
